Independent correspondent of Crawford & Company®
We have been Crawford & Company’s independent correspondent for the six Dutch islands in the Caribbean (Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Saba, Statia, Sint-Maarten) since 2024. For international clients, we handle different types of claims and resolve insurance cases in various industries. These include cases relating to business interruption, property or liability. And we also handle claims arising from catastrophes.
Personal injury
Insurers instruct us to handle personal injury claims on their behalf, in case they accept liability for a collision for instance. If you are a victim, you will be contacted by us, and we will guide the process to get compensation for the damage on reasonable grounds. On a regular basis we report to the insurer how the case is developing.
Fire damage
A fire can have significant consequences, both material and immaterial. In almost all cases, the impact is severe. When commercial property is damaged or destroyed, it can result in temporary or long-term closure, leading to financial losses, known as Business Interruption. If insured, we report on the cause and assess the extent of the damage proactively and independently.
Water damage
Water damage can have far-reaching consequences, both in the short and long term. It can cause damage to buildings and infrastructure, inventory and property, mold and moisture issues, and electrical damage. Repairing water damage can be costly. With our expertise we can professionally assess the extent of damage and loss.
Burglary damage
A burglary can have serious consequences, both material and emotional. It can cause damage to doors, windows, and locks, as well as the loss of valuable belongings such as money, jewelry, electronics, and other precious items. In businesses, it can even lead to the theft of sensitive information, with considerable consequences. With our expertise, we assess the damage and investigate preventive measures.
